After about a year of stressing, it was that moment that made it all worth while. The moment where I saw my planning come together – it felt like a dream that I did not want to wake up from. My wedding day.

Wedding planning can be quite the headache especially when you have no clear vision and lack of resources – that was me in 2011 – 2012, but that doesn’t have to be you. Perfect Muslim Wedding was created to guide and provide you with resources that has your needs in heart and mind.

My name is Marwa Diaf and I’m going to be a guest blogger on PMW to bring you my wedding story, tips, and advice to help you plan the best day of your life. So before I jump right into all of the fun wedding stuff, let me tell you a little about myself.

I’m a 25-year-old graduate from CSU Sacramento with my BA in Journalism. I currently live in Columbia, Missouri with my husband, Ahmed. I’m a style, fashion, coffee and food enthusiast and I run my own style blog called Live. Write. Style. I’m the fourth out of a total of seven girls, so I’ve seen my share of weddings go from the drawing board to reality.

So don’t stress, you’re in good hands. My mind is still fresh with all the wedding details – the dos, the don’ts, and the never think about doing. Look out for my next post where I take you through the year of planning to Sunday, July 8, 2012, where it all came together.
