There are many things to expect on the day of your wedding. You should be always be prepared for anything. As humans, we know things don’t always go as planned, and yes unfortunately, that includes your wedding day. So here are three wedding tidbits we came up with to help you be prepared:
1. Depending on how many people you invite, about 50-100 people will not show up. This is just the way it is.
2. You will always have late guests. This is tough to deal with because you have already made a set schedule with the hotel staff, caterers and various vendors. So if you’re going to say 5:00 pm, all of your guests will not arrive until about 7:00 pm. Again, that’s just the way it is.
3. And lastly, tears. No matter what, someone will cry on your wedding day, and you’ll most likely be one of them. It’s just all of the stress and everything else hitting you at once. It’s a bitter sweet feeling. So keep the tissues handy!
So keep these tidbits in mind and have a positive attitude no matter what happens. Remember that Allah (SWT) is the best of planners. All you can do is your best, but always know it won’t ever go exactly the way you planned it, but that’s the beauty of life. It is important to keep a smile on your face because you always want to look back on your wedding day with no regrets, and you will never regret keeping a positive attitude. May Allah (SWT) continue to bless and protect us all. Ameen.
